Privacy policy
In short: no sign-up, no tracking, no advertising or analytics cookies. We only receive personal data from you when you request a textbook.
Who is responsible for your data?
- Controller
- Tamás Makó
- twao.group@gmail.com
This policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Hungarian Act on Informational Self-Determination (Infotv.).
Textbook Requests
When you request a textbook on the Education page, we process:
- your name and email address;
- your university, course, programme, exam date, exam format and preferred language;
- the link you share, your notes and the files you upload;
- when you sent the request and from which page.
What we use it for
To build your private Digital Textbook, email you its link, and contact you if we have a question about your request. Nothing else: no newsletters, and we never sell your data.
Legal basis
Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give with the checkbox in the last step of the request form. You can withdraw it at any time by email. This does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
How long we keep it
We delete your request and uploaded files within 30 days after the exam date you gave us, or earlier if you ask. Your finished textbook stays available at its private link until you ask us to delete it.
Before you upload
Only upload materials you are allowed to use for your own studies, and where possible leave out other people’s personal data, such as class lists or contact details.
AI features in the textbooks
When you ask a textbook for AI-powered feedback, a mock exam or an explanation, your answer and the question are sent to Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, to generate the response. We do not send your name, email or any other identifying data with it, and please don’t include any in your answers.
To prevent abuse, the server uses your IP address for up to one hour, in memory only, to limit the number of requests, and does not store it. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in running the feature and protecting it from overload. Under its terms, Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use cookies, either for analytics or for advertising. That is why you don’t see a cookie consent banner.
We only keep data in your browser’s local storage that the features you use need, for example:
- your progress and marked topics in the textbooks;
- your chosen language.
This data stays on your device and never reaches us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. When you send a Textbook Request, Firebase may also store technical data in your browser that the connection needs.
Who can access your data?
Only the operator sees your data. We use the following service providers (processors) to run the site:
| Provider | Purpose | Where data is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, D04 E5W5, Ireland (Firebase) | Serving the site, storing requests and uploaded files | European Union and United States |
| Anthropic PBC, United States | AI-powered feedback in the textbooks | United States |
Transfers to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
The hosting provider may keep technical logs to serve the site (such as IP address, time and browser type), under its own privacy terms.
External sites
Links to Spotify and Apple Music playlists are plain links. If you open them, those services’ own privacy policies apply.

You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data or restrict how we use it;
- give you the data you provided in a machine-readable format (portability);
- stop processing based on legitimate interest (objection);
- withdraw your consent.
